South Africans on social media weighed in on the twitter war (twar) between Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula and Beeld newspaper editor, Adrian Basson. The twar started when Basson asked Mbalula who had paid for his trip to the Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas. Mbalula accused Basson of being racist and assuming that he had engaged in corrupt activity just because he is black.
